Fiocchi's Special Use Law Enforcement loads are designed with a special application in mind. These special purpose loads are still considered lethal and should be treated as live ammunition. The Frangible Demolition Breaching Slug is for use during special operations. Its primary function is to facilitate dynamic entry by quickly and effectively breaching doors and locks allowing the entry team rapid access to an area. The projectile is formed from a polymer composite encapsulating lead shot. This round is intended for us in the destruction of door locks, door hinges, padlocks and chains. Due to the nature of this round the muzzle of the shotgun must not be in direct contact with the surface of the target although a standoff device is not necessary.

For generations law enforcement officers, military professionals and self defense minded individuals alike have trusted the Fiocchi family to deliver the highest quality ammunition for the most serious of applications, protecting your community and family. These Special Application Breaching rounds are designed to take down the most stubborn doors with a minimal amount of collateral damage on the other side. The lead shot is held in a polymer capsule which breaks apart upon impact. This dumps all of the energy into the target, breaking it down and giving you entry. Use only in shotguns with choke no tighter than modified. Do not use in ported barrels, ported chokes, or backbored barrels. Cylinder choke is preferred.
